Helping is Great Virtue for Every Human’s
To encourage religious inclination in Nepal, the installation of Hindu deities’ statues has been carried out, and through worship, kirtan, and sermons, spiritual and religious knowledge has been promoted. With a sense of altruism for humanity and inspired by the objective of world peace and social welfare, the Agrawal Marwadi community residing in Kathmandu felt the need for a pure religious and social organization for public benefit. Consequently, the District Administration Office in Kathmandu established the Marwadi Religious Center on 20 Paush 2047 BS. Over time, with modifications aimed at service and in accordance with societal needs, the organization was renamed Agrawal Service Center by the Nepal Government, District Administration Office, Kathmandu, on 28 Mangsir 2053 BS.
